Inside(r) Exec Secrets Podcast Launch

I don\’t know about you, but I am experiencing glimmers of \’normality\’, like being able to pop up to the drive-through Starbucks for a longed for coffee. Then I\’ll have the occasional \’off day\’ too, where something will remind me of our situation, such as not being able to hug my mum at our socially distanced picnic.

As Ronan Keating said, \’Life is a Rollercoaster, you just gotta ride it.\’ Part of me has found lockdown both scary and thrilling!

The scary bits have been the usual COVID-19 concerns, which I have written about previously. The exciting aspects have been finding new ways to run my business. I have felt the same enthusiasm and vigour I experienced when I set up Beee 15 years ago. I do like a challenge 😉

I have created a podcast for you, which has been inspired by my clients. The first episode is just me on my swing seat, but in future releases you will be hearing from execs who will be sharing their inside(r) secrets.

I am privileged to hear the inner workings of my clients\’ minds. Their fears, stressors, doubts, inner criticisms – regardless of how amazingly successful they are! Then there\’s the  good stuff. The magic they create in their business and with their teams. My clients never fail to enthuse me with their nuggets of genius, experience and learnings – so we are going to cover this too in future episodes.

I often hear myself say to my coachees as they \’confess\’ or tell me stories they\’ve never told anyone before, \’Hey, look, you are normal\’, because I\’ve usually heard many versions of their story – they just don\’t realise that other people have similar hurdles in work-life too.

My podcasts are going to be punchy, (no long meandering CV interviews); we are going to get to the \’sauce\’  and \’source\’, fast.

In this episode I talk about:

  • Where your drivers come from.
  • What happens when they are over or under done.
  • How your past positively and negatively influences your present.
  • How to overcome inner triggers which are getting in the way of your success.
  • My personal story – I felt it was only fair that I showed you mine first.

For the veteran podcast listeners, the birds tweeting in the background might get on your nerves, (or cause you to relax of course). It is a bit rough around the edges – particularly the last 2 minutes, so stay tuned if you want a laugh. It was an experiment and wanted to crack on with it, but have had some amazing feedback already – thank you to those of you that have given it. I promise to use proper equipment next time!
